Glynn Ellis

Executive Managing Director

Glynn, originally trained as a geologist, dedicated over two decades to Shell, where he played a crucial role in establishing and expanding their new energies business. During his tenure, Glynn led the international shale gas operations and actively collaborated with communities to bring projects to fruition. Following his significant contributions at Shell, Glynn further enriched his industry experience at Fortescue Future Industries (FFI) before venturing out on his own. Subsequently, he founded what is now known as Oakajee Energy, exemplifying Glynn’s continuous commitment to innovation and leadership in the evolving energy landscape. 

Rob Hanson

Director – Renewable Energy

Rob has extensive expertise in renewable energy installation and development, Rob embarked on his career by installing grid-connected solar systems in Western Australia, particularly for farming and rural areas. Recognizing the potential to expand services for standalone power systems, he founded a specialized team focusing on lithium battery systems, diesel generators, and control systems. With over a decade of experience, Rob has overseen cutting-edge solar installations across the Pilbara and Kimberly region, demonstrating his commitment to progressive, high-quality solutions. His true passion lies in Renewable Energy and Development, evident in his leadership role in the industry’s revolution, including pioneering projects in green hydrogen and ammonia development (OE).

Executive Director

With over 35 years of commercial experience in the energy sector, Reinhardt, recently served as a key figure in Australia’s leading independent oil and gas company. Renowned for executive leadership, he boasts a proven track record of skilfully navigating intricate commercial negotiations for Woodside, Joint Ventures, and other entities, influencing multi-billion-dollar investment decisions. Reinhardt is widely acknowledged as a leading industry expert in the Asia Pacific LNG market, fostering robust relationships with stakeholders in Asia Pacific, Europe, and the USA. His contributions extend to shaping company strategy, influencing organizational culture, and spearheading successful product marketing and shipping strategies.

Matt Bungey

Director – Finance and Investment

Matt is an experienced deal maker, board member and entrepeneur with a diverse background. After a 5-year stint with BHP as a Chemical Engineer and commodity trader, he spent 15 years in investment banking with Barclays in London, achieving the position of Managing Director. During this period, Matt focused on M&A, debt, and equity financings, completing landmark transactions exceeding $100 billion in mergers and acquisitions, over $10 billion in equity raisings, and more than $100 billion in debt financings. Since his retirement from banking, Matt has served on the Board of BGC Australia, one of Australia’s largest private companies, and co-founded Trigg Capital Pty Ltd and Salt Lake Potash. Matt holds degrees in Chemical Engineering and Science from the university of Melbourne and earned an MBA with distinction from INSEAD.
